Had discussions with new Senior DDG(Estt.) / DOT, Respected Shri. Lodha ji, regarding extending notional increment to VRS. Appears to be convinced about the merits of the issue.
Senior DDG (Estt.) informed that he has had a preliminary look at the issue. Has asked GS SNPWA to come for a very detailed discussion on the issue next week.

Dear Comrades,
CHQ is confident that extensive and wide spread mobilization by our CHQ office bearers/ CSs and Activists of the Organization at all the levels would have almost got completed by now and that each and every comrade of SNPWA throughout the Country would be fully geared up to participate in the Protest Lunch Hour demonstration on 16th April 2026.
CHQ is equally confident that a very close consultation and coordination with all the constituents of Committe of BSNL/ MTNL Pensioners Associations would have taken place to make the Protest Actions on 16th April, 2026, a massive success.
CHQ is sure that each and every Comrade of SNPWA is fully aware of what is really at stake - our Dignity, Existence, and Legitimately Dignified Survival.
Legitimate Pension Revision has already been frozen for the last ten years, Inflation Indexed DR is now frozen, and time is not far away when our pension itself will be completely stopped.
With this kind of deadly threat knocking at our doors, we believe that nothing further needs to be said and elaborated.
GS / SNPWA is of the firm opinion that Govt. is all determined and set to Slaughter Pensioners and that slaughtering has already taken begun. Comrades may be thinking that GS is being emotional and exaggerating things but GS is very frankly sharing his personal assessment of the prevailing situation vis - a- vis Pensioners and things to follow in future if we dont come out of our comfort zones to resist and defeat the devilish designs of the Govt.
Comrades, let us not allow ourselves to be robbed of our dignity, existence, and survival. Let us not allow a situation where we will be pushed on to the streets and will be forced to become liabilities on the society at the fag end of our life.
And Comrades this Slaughter of Pensioners is not BSNL/ MTNL specific but is all round. Given draconian Validation Act, 25, enacted by the Parliament, with calibrated devilish designs, in March, 25, by virtue of which Govt. has assumed Absolute Powers to Discriminate Pensioners on the basis of their D.O.R, albeit in Flagrant Violation of the Nakkara Judgment and the Basic Structure Doctrine of the Constitution of which Article 14, which ensures Pensioners are not discriminated on the basis of their D.O R is an essential ingredient of Basic Structure Doctrine of the Constitution, and, keeping in view, the T.O.R of 8th CPC where there is no mention of Pension Revision of the existing Central Government Pensioners, the writing on the wall is very crisp and clear for the existing and would be Pensioners of Central Govt covered under OPS. Of Course, Validation Act, 25, is under challenge in the Hon Supreme Court.
Besides, the T.O R of 8th CPC unambiguously, brazen facedly, and maliciously state that Pension under OPS is Unfunded and Non Contributory, thereby virtually laying firm ground for scrapping Pension altogether in the long term. Let us not have any illusions about it. The ground for such a catastrophic move by the Govt towards Central Government Pensioners and existing Employees covered under OPS is all set- to Abolish Pension altogether in the long term.
